Hormonal acne cheeks can be pesky and painful, especially if you accidentally touched it. The cheeks are one of the most special places in the face, and the first thing that a person notices when they are having a conversation is the cheeks. Cheeks cannot help it. They are so prominent in your face that it is impossible for someone to avoid looking at another person’s cheek. Sure you can escape the eyes, the nose, and the other minor details of the face, but cheeks are another case. It gets worse because a human actually has two cheeks on them. There are no double forehead nor double nose. Truly, cheeks are inescapable.
Because cheeks are inescapable to the eyes, your conversation partner would often notice something odd on your cheeks. If you blushes, the first thing that your conversation partner would notice is the red of your face. If you put some makeup on them, the first thing that is prominent on your face is said makeup (unless you put on something heavy on your lips that is). If you have an acne on your cheeks (especially a big one), other person is bound to notice that exposed acne.
That is why you should treat that cheeks acne if you ever encounter one. Here, I will list you all the things you can do to treat acne on your cheeks.
Clean your face regularly
Cleaning the face is simple and a thing that you should do if you plan on getting rid of that nasty stuff. If your face is clean, you would have less of a clogged pore, and clogged pores are often the perpetrator behind acnes. To clean your face, simply use a wet towel (preferably soaked in warm water because the warmth would open up your pores even more), and wipe them softly. This will clean the dirt and freshen up your face.
Avoid using wet wipes because many (if not all) wet wipes contain alcohol. Alcohol might kill the germs in there, but there is a high chance that your skin will get irritated because of it.
Control your diet
Sugar, dairies, peanuts, fast food, and spicy foods are all the things that will make an acne pop on your face. Avoid these foods if you want a perfectly clear face.
While I listed spicy food in here, that does not mean you should abstain from eating it. Spicy food increases the sweat, thereby increasing the oil that your body produce. Body oil can increase the risk of you getting an acne, so you have to make sure that your facial oil is not excessive in number. To counter the high amount of sweat from eating spicy food, you can wash your face after you eat said food.
Fun fact: I recommend to be abstain from fast food not because of the grease. The grease is harmful for your heart and for the other parts of your body, but it is not the cause of the acne itself. The true cause of acne in fast food is the high intake of white flour and those starchy potatoes.
Do not get stressed out
Stress is humanity’s common enemy and is the cause of great many problems. If you found yourself stressed because of something, take a break from that something and continue when you have gathered a calm and collective mind. This reduce the chance of acne.
